General Information & Organization

Our Magic of Desert camp is located just a few kilometers from M’hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the open desert in southern Morocco. You can reach us from Marrakech or Agadir by private transfer, rental car, or public bus (e.g., Supratours). We’re happy to organize transport for you on request.

The best time to visit is from October to April, when temperatures are pleasant. During summer (June to August), daytime heat can be extreme, and we do not offer tours in this period.

You’ll stay in stylish private huts that offer peace and comfort. Each hut has a private bathroom and is furnished with a cozy bed, traditional details, and thoughtful touches. Unlike many desert camps, we do not use nomadic tents for overnight stays.

Yes, our camp has sustainable electricity for lighting and device charging. Wi-Fi is available upon request – but the desert invites you to connect mindfully: with nature, yourself, and the moment.

We accept PayPal and cash on site. More details will be provided upon booking.

If you need to cancel your trip, graduated cancellation conditions apply. Specific deadlines and potential refunds can be found in our terms and conditions.

Retreats, Workshops & Activities

We don’t host regular retreats ourselves but offer a space for coaches, trainers, and groups to organize their own retreats in the desert or in combination with a trekking tour.

Absolutely! Our camp is ideal for yoga, mindfulness, coaching, or other retreats. Groups can take advantage of the desert’s special atmosphere to create meaningful experiences. We’re happy to help with organization and logistics.

If you want to organize a retreat or workshop in the unique atmosphere of the desert, you’re in the right place. Our camp provides the perfect setting – with cozy huts, a large rooftop terrace for open-air sessions, and space for retreat and exchange. Mobile retreats combined with desert trekking are also possible – creating an even deeper connection to the nature and silence of the desert. Desert Treks & Round Trips

We offer multi-day camel trekking tours and round trips through southern Morocco. All tours can be tailored to your wishes.

Yes, our tours don’t just start in M’hamid – they can also be arranged from Marrakech or Agadir.

We currently offer private tours only, so group size depends on your booking – whether you travel as a couple, family, or group. We recommend a maximum of 8 people for a more personal experience.

Our treks usually begin at the camp and are guided by experienced nomads who know the desert intimately. You can choose to walk or ride a camel. Overnight stays are in tents or under the stars.

Important items include comfortable clothes, trekking sandals or hiking shoes, a small backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. You’ll receive a detailed packing list after booking.

Yes it’s a wonderful way to experience the desert from different angles. Many guests relax at the camp for a few days and then go on a multi-day trek.

es, in addition to longer treks and round trips, we also offer shorter excursions. If you have special requests, we’ll gladly create your own custom dream tour.

General physical fitness is sufficient. We adjust the pace to the group, and you always have the option to ride a camel in between.

Food & Special Requests

Yes, all our camel treks include full-board with freshly prepared traditional Moroccan dishes.

Yes, we offer vegetarian and vegan meals. Please let us know your needs in advance.

Yes, on request we also organize tours and stays for solo travelers. The desert offers space for retreat as well as for new encounters.
