4 Days Desert Adventure

We begin our journey in the morning from our camp near M’Hamid, the gateway to the Sahara. Together with our camels and desert crew, we pass through the lush palm grove of M’Hamid. We stop for a break under the shade of tamarisk trees to enjoy fresh tea and a traditional lunch.

Refreshed, we continue our walk and arrive at Sidi Naji, a sacred tomb site deeply connected to the stories and traditions of the nomads. The spiritual energy of this place, passed down through generations, makes it a truly special destination.

After breakfast, we continue deeper into the vast Sahara. For about four hours, we walk through mesmerizing dunes, soaking in the silence and beauty of the desert and letting go of everyday thoughts.

We take a break beneath tamarisk trees and recharge with a light snack. In the afternoon, we reach the stunning dunes of Erg Zahar, known for their unique “singing” a natural phenomenon created by the wind flowing through the fine sand.

We set up camp here for the night. Climb one of Morocco’s highest dunes and witness a spectacular sunset over the endless desert. The evening winds down with a relaxed time around the campfire before resting beneath the stars or in your tent.

Our journey continues through the Sahara toward the dunes of Erg Ait Ounir, located in the region of the Aarib one of Morocco’s last remaining nomadic tribes. Along the way, we experience the diversity of the desert: endless sand dunes blending into wide, open plains.

At midday, we pause for a peaceful picnic in a quiet spot. After another stretch of walking, we reach the Lbour dunes, where we set up camp, enjoy a traditional dinner, and gather around the fire to end the day.

After breakfast, we begin our return trek to our camp near M’Hamid. Along the way, we reflect on the experiences of the past days and savor one last meal in the desert’s special atmosphere.
Once back at camp, our trek comes to an end but the memories of silence, vastness, and the magic of the Sahara will stay with you long after.
