14 Days of Adventure Between Desert and Sea

You’ll be picked up at the airport and taken to a beautiful riad. Depending on your arrival time, you can begin exploring Marrakech and take in your first impressions of its lively atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at your riad and settle in for your first night in Morocco.

After a relaxed breakfast, you'll have a full day to discover this vibrant, colorful city:

• - A guided tour to highlights such as Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens.
• - A walk through the lively and colorful souks.
• - Visit to the famous Djemaa el Fna square, where entertainers and musicians fill the evening with energy.
• - Dinner at a place of your choice, whether in a traditional restaurant or at one of the many food stalls in the square (at your own expense).

At 8:00 AM, your driver will pick you up from the riad. You’ll travel across the Atlas Mountains and over the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah (approx. 3.5 hrs drive).

Time to explore the site and have lunch (at your own expense). Afterwards, continue your scenic journey (approx. another 4.5 hrs) with photo stops along the way until you reach M’Hamid in the evening.

After a relaxed morning at the camp, your desert adventure begins. Our trekking team warmly welcomes you, the camels are loaded – then off you go. As soon as you take your first step into the vastness, everyday life quietly slips away. We cross the dry riverbed of the Drâa and walk through the palm groves south of M’hamid. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Rass N’khal – a peaceful spot surrounded by gentle dunes and acacias. The evening winds down calmly by the campfire before you sleep under the sparkling starry sky or in our tents.

• - Guided by our experienced team, you’ll walk alongside a camel caravan through stunning and varied desert landscapes dunes, oases, and rocky plains. You may also ride a camel if you wish. (Walking time approx. 4–6 hours/day.)

Today, we enter the depths of the Sahara. The landscape constantly changes: sand fields, rocky plains, and scattered tamarisks alternate. In the distance, the dark silhouettes of the Kraab Mountains emerge – a silent horizon at the Algerian border. The night is spent near the “Marabout” of Sidi Naji, a sacred burial site in the middle of the desert, where stories of nomads, saints, and travelers still seem to linger in the air.

In the morning, the journey continues westward. We pass the mysterious ruins of Qsar Bousnina, an ancient mud settlement rising from the sand like a forgotten memory. Then we approach the massive dunes of Erg Zahar – also known as the “singing dunes.” When the wind sweeps through the fine sand, a deep humming is created, resonating deep within the body. You climb the highest dune, let your gaze wander over the golden sea – and find yourself in the midst of silence.

A new day awakens in golden light. After breakfast, we set off across the rocky Dzira Plateau – a vast, rugged contrast to the rolling dunes. At midday, we seek shade beneath the tamarisks. Then we continue to the dunes of Erg Essadra. Here, we set up our camp, listen to songs by the fire, and share experiences, as the sky above us lights up with thousands of stars.

Today, you will experience the heart of the desert: the mighty dunes of Erg Chegaga. On the way there, we cross quiet plains and wide sand valleys – the energy grows quieter, clearer, and more expansive. Erg Chegaga welcomes us with majestic grandeur. You can climb one of the highest dunes and witness the sunset over an endless sea of sand. The night is spent in a comfortable camp – with refreshing showers, delicious food, and perhaps the most beautiful starry sky of your life.

After a final breakfast amidst the dunes, it’s time to say goodbye to the desert. By 4x4, we drive across the vast expanses of Iriki National Park, passing dried salt lakes, rugged mountain ranges, and quiet mud villages. The landscape changes with every kilometer. In the evening, we arrive in Tamraght, a relaxed surfer village on the Atlantic coast near Agadir, where the sound of the waves and the sea breeze welcome you. Accommodation in a cozy riad or stylish surfer guesthouse.

• - Spend two full days relaxing on the beach, surfing, swimming, or exploring this popular surfing village.

Today is about breathing deeply, arriving, and enjoying. The day is yours – whether for a leisurely beach walk, a first surfing lesson with an instructor, or simply relaxing on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Those who wish can explore Agadir’s lively souks, the seaside promenade, or the traditional market hall. The sun, the salt in the air, and the ease of this coastal town invite you to let go.

The ocean becomes a mirror of your inner peace.

After a relaxed breakfast, a scenic drive takes you partly along the Atlantic coast to Essaouira. This white and blue harbor town, with its city walls, seagull calls, and alleys full of music and crafts, welcomes you with a maritime charm. You’ll spend two nights here in a stylish riad in the old town – perfectly located to explore this creative, artistic city on your own.

The day belongs entirely to Essaouira: wandering through the medina, colorful streets filled with woodcarvers, painters, and musicians. Fresh fish straight from the harbor, a walk along the endless beach, or a visit to a small gallery – Essaouira invites you to linger, marvel, and enjoy. Maybe you’ll find a special souvenir or simply a new favorite feeling here.

In the morning, it’s time to slowly say goodbye. Depending on your flight time, there may still be a chance for a final breakfast in the sun or a short stroll through the medina. Around noon, a private transfer will take you back to Marrakech or directly to the airport. A journey full of colors, scents, silence, and encounters comes to an end – yet its impact will linger within you for a long time.
